Equipment From School:

• Video Projector - score!! ITP agrees to lend a short throw projector & rear screen projection material!
• Screen - I may have to build one lickity-split. I have the materials at home, I think. What's a good material for a screen, anyway? Should I prime some canvas with flat white paint? 
• Flat Panel Display - 3 X 17"-20" (if one can be a bigger display, this may eliminate the need for the projector)
• Podium - Who wants to trick out a podium? It should say: "Democracy is Fucking RAD" on the front. Anybody? I'm thinking gold paint and glitter... Oh, and, we need a podium donated. Or built. hmm.
• Microphone - One that won't catch surrounding noise, and is good for outdoor use (ie wind)
• Audio Mixer - This MIGHT be simply a laptop, still working on what is most practical to mix signals - a virtual or physical mixer? Only one mic as a physical input, speakers as an output. And then there's Asterisk bridging the calls from the web. 
• Speakers & Amps - 4 should do it, we're not putting on Live Earth.
• Printing - I'd Love to have banners made for this event! And cards! Does anyone want to take a crack at doing some designs? I'm thinking of something involving a bullhorn.
